Foodlabs (FL) is a venture capital investor and venture studio, based in Berlin with a focus on Food-, Agtech, and Sustainability. We’ve previously backed leading food tech startups such as Gorillas, Infarm, share, Meatable, Mushlabs, Formo, and Mitte. In our studio, we are consistently identifying new opportunities to change the food landscape in Europe together with the most daring entrepreneurs and scientists.

Going beyond questions on how we can produce food and distribute it, we are asking: how does our daily nutrition influences our physical and mental health, and what technologies can we invent using this correlation to help us fight rare diseases? ROLE

  • Your mission is demand growth, including new customer acquisition, engagement, and retention

  • Using a data-driven approach, you develop strategies across key marketing channels to grow the target KPIs

  • You are responsible for performance across all digital channels, including performance marketing and CRM

  • You work closely with Brand and Campaign teams to optimize for growth

  • Your field of responsibility includes driving affordability initiatives, coordinating with commercial and management teams

  • Your own topics of performance management, target setting, and budgeting processes

  • You’ll manage a group of committed, smart people to do the best work of their careers. You'll help them set and succeed against ambitious objectives.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Our wish list for this role looks something like this:

  • Experienced leader with 4+ years of experience in marketing, product, generalist, or consulting role, ideally in a fast-paced environment

  • Growth is your mindset, and you lead the team by example

  • Advanced knowledge of digital marketing channels, including Search (SEO, SEM), Display (Paid Social, YouTube, other app networks), and CRM (comms + segmentation)

  • Excellent communicator, including outstanding ability to translate data insights into action, and sharing with broader audiences

  • You create a supportive and inclusive culture, listen to others, and find opportunities for your team to grow and successfully navigate complex challenges
