With a strong scientific and mission-driven founder team (MIT & ETH), we are creating a digital health and nutrition startup disrupting the way individuals can manage their microbiome health. With our two-sided product, individualized fiber-based food products, and our digital health companion, we provide our customers with sustainable and engaging solutions for supporting gut health. Affecting a wide range of different health issues, from depression to diabetes, the microbiome creates new opportunities in various sectors of modern medicine. After creating a minimum viable product and closing a pre-seed round, we are now ready to go to market, scale our operations, and grow our team. For this next chapter, we are looking to expand the founder team with a Co-Founder & Chief Commercial Officer (m/f/x) based in London.

THE ROLE

As a Co-founder and Commercial Lead, you will set the standard for our growth and sales strategy in the UK & European market and beyond. You will work closely with existing founders running the product development and R&D operations in Switzerland to conduct customer tests, refine our product positioning, and craft our marketing message. You will develop our growth and marketing strategy and leverage our digital platform towards scaling nation- and Europe-wide. With your Co-Founders, you will devise our vision and further fundraising strategy as well as product positioning, customer feedback, and product-related operations. You will have the opportunity to shape our commercial culture, operational excellence, and build our team of A-players to make this come true. 

YOUR TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build your own business with your strong co-founding team, VC-backing, strong scientific product, and advisory council in place

  • Create our Go-To-Market strategy in the UK, Europe, and beyond. Lead, develop, and create a culture of testing and experimentation to innovate on how we drive business growth, acquisition, user engagement, churn reductions

  • Collaborate with the product and tech leads to build the best product for our digital health-startup

  • Recruit, lead, and grow a team of high performing individual contributors and cross-functional partners globally

  • Communicate roadmaps, priorities, experiments, and decisions across a wide spectrum of audiences from partner teams to executive levels

Requirements

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in technology, business, or related field

  • Minimum of five years of experience in a fast-paced role in commercial strategy, growth, or product management in a start-up environment

  • A track record of measurable success in developing and growing our business through innovative campaigns and programs to scale our company growth

  • Self-motivated, revenue driven, and passionate about helping us become the undisputed leader in our industry

  • Practical, actional oriented approach to solving problems (vs. getting to perfect answer) and a willingness to experiment and change tact based on early results

  • Strong team leadership skills with the ability to build and develop a growing marketing, sales, and operations function

  • Proactive, confident, and with excellent communication skills; able to quickly build trusting relationships with a range of stakeholders

  • A hands-on strategic leader willing to lead by doing
