Our business model: We are enabling farmers to take on climate change while turning their businesses more profitable and sustainable. This is made possible by the world's first digital platform for carbon farming as well as related B2B carbon offsetting services, including a Klim food label.
Backed by leading European investors, including Atlantic Food Labs, Ananda Impact Ventures, and Wi Venture, Klim is now scaling its operations and looking for a CCO to join the highly experienced founder team.
As CCO you will lay the foundation for the successful growth of Klim and you will be responsible for the development and execution of our B2B commercialization strategy. You will join us at a very early stage of our business and thus get to sit in the drivers’ seat on building our business, the team, and strategic partnerships directly with the founder team.
YOUR TASKS INCLUDE
You drive our business development and growth with a particular focus on deal closing in the B2B space, with an initial focus on food brands, retailers, and the carbon offsetting space (the farmer side will be covered by the farmer team)
You develop our commercialization strategy further and identify new customer segments for our B2B offering
You prospect and manage senior level relationships and scale our business development team
You develop profit for the company and provide financial and revenue support to the rest of the organization
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
An entrepreneurial mindset with a strong growth orientation
A strong track record of success in a senior commercial leadership role.
You have successfully built, scaled, and led high-performing business development or sales teams.
Substantial experience in a fast-paced environment (startup, management consulting, investment banking).
A degree in Business Administration or a related field
Enthusiasm for startups/entrepreneurship as well as sustainability, agriculture, and food
Strong bias for action and execution, ability to explore opportunities and make sound decisions to move the company forward.
Strong communication and influencing skills – clear, concise, and persuasive in style, excellent PowerPoint skills.
High Emotional intelligence: People-oriented, relationship builder, works well with different people types.
Native or fluency German, fluency in English
